Factors affecting the performance of thermal insulation shell

The purpose of building, industry, ship and other industries is to save energy and reduce energy consumption. The life of insulation shell has a great relationship with the following factors.

1. Thermal stress

The change of temperature difference will lead to heat expansion and contraction, and cause the volume change of unstructured structure, so that it is in a state of instability. Therefore, thermal stress is one of the main destructive forces to destroy the outer wall thermal insulation shell. Compared with multi-storey or flat buildings, the high-rise buildings receive more direct sunlight and more thermal stress, so the principle of flexible gradual change should be followed when choosing the insulation shell products. The deformation ability of outer shell should be higher than that of the inner outer shell.

2. Wind pressure

The positive pressure produces the thrust, the negative wind pressure produces the suction, which will have the influence on the insulation layer of the high-rise building, so this requires the insulation shell to have the considerable anti wind pressure ability, and as far as the anti wind pressure is concerned, the insulation layer has no cavity to stop the air layer.

3. Seismic force

The earthquake force can cause the high building structure and the thermal insulation layer to squeeze, shear or distort the deformation, and the greater the rigidity of the thermal insulation layer, the greater the earthquake force will bear, the more serious the damage may be.

4, water or water vapor

In order to avoid the damage of water or steam to the high-rise building, the heat insulation shell with good hydrophobicity and good steam permeability should be selected to avoid the phenomenon of water or steam in the process of migration of wall condensation or the increase of moisture content inside the insulation layer.
